Rainbow Six Siege is Gearing up for Year 4 Season 2
The new Rainbow Six Siege operators will be coming soon, and it looks like Ubisoft is already preparing fans for their eventual reveal with a quick teaser posted to Twitter late yesterday, showcasing the two potential playstyles of the new characters in one tantalizing image. Rainbow Six Siege is gearing up for Year 4 Season 2, and the constantly improving Ubisoft title will be adding at least two new operators alongside the usual dearth of content that has made the game such an appealing long-term investment for fans of multiplayer shooters.
Ubisoft has kickstarted preparations for its next update headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, promising a fresh wave of content for the hit tactical shooter. The newly unveiled Operation Phantom Sight aims to bolster its multiplayer roster, delivering a spine-chilling trailer for one of its two mysterious playable Operators. The games player base has also topped 45 million, up 40% from the same time a year ago. Overall, Ubisoft said it has more than 100 million active unique players on its PC and console games (this does not count players of Ubisofts mobile games). Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, said the company has grown its employee base from 5,000 a decade ago to 15,000 today.
The trailer begins with identifying N?kk as an Attacker before cutting to an underground location. Though the video occasionally glitches out, the shimmering outline of a person can be seen. It appears as if Nkk has some form of cloaking technology, which makes her nearly invisible save for a Predator-like outline. Later on in the video, Nkk stops moving and completely disappears, which may imply that she can go fully invisible while going prone or remaining motionless. The trailer ends with a close-up of Nkk, but her hood shrouds her face from view. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for one of its two new Operators coming to Rainbow Six Siege in Operation Phantom Sight. The new trailer (which can be watched above) showcases Danish Jgerkorpset Operator Nkk and teases her unique gadget ability.
It's that time of year again Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is soon on track to receive its next seasonal update. Ubisoft is cooking up a fresh wave of content for its hit tactical shooter, today dropping its opening teaser for Year 4 Season 2. Griefers who kill their teammates in Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Siege will have their own weapons turned back on them thanks to the games latest update. The punishment is called reverse friendly fire and it sounds like a ridiculous way to go down, which is what team-killers deserve.
