FIFA 18 is the most popular football simulation game on PS4/XboxOne/NintendoSwitch/PC, developed by EA Sports. The game provides the both online and offline mode for every ages of people who loves football or just loves to play football game. The cover star, who is ranked amongst the game’s best players, has struggled to emulate his Ballon d’Or winning form in the past few months – although admittedly he’s picked up again recently.

The Portuguese star only has four goals to his name in 11 appearances in La Liga – his lowest strike rate for quite some time.

In the Champions League, he fares slightly better- with nine goals from six appearances.

No one can argue that, for the first part of the year, the Real Madrid star was on fire – but on stats alone, he’s some way behind some other quality players this season.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, has averaged a goal every 244 minutes – with just 42 per cent of his shots on target.

Compared to Lionel Messi, La Liga’s top scorer, there’s no competition – with the Argentine netting 14, averaging a goal every 103 minutes.
 

So, should Ronaldo fans be worried? Well, it’s not the first time he’s struggled for form.

“It’s not my fault if it does not want to come in,” he told L’Equipe earlier in the year.

“Two years ago, it was already the same situation at the same time (3 goals in the Championship between 19 September and 28 November).  Last year, same (1 goal in La Liga in his first 4 games Liga). And this year, it starts again.

“People do not know the difference between playing well, playing moderately and not scoring goals. They look at me like a goal machine, like a guy who has to score all the time.”

That relaxed attitude seems to be paying off, with Ronaldo netting eight goals in his last seven matches across all competitions.

He”ll certainly need to be at the top of his game when Los Blancos take on Barcelona in this weekend’s El Clasico.

“I hope we win that game so that the league is still alive for Real Madrid,” said Ronaldo, as reported by Marca.

The FIFA 18 Team of the Year will run from January 9th to January 16th – and reward the year’s best players with massively upgraded Ultimate Team cards.
