FIFA 17 Winter Upgrades release date CONFIRMED

Each week FIFA Ultimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competition around the world, with EA Sports releasing the latest lineup yesterday.

FIFA 17 TOTW 22 includes four Premier League stars in the starting XI and Middlesbrough's Victor Valdes in the reserves.

Some of the key positions are filled by those playing in the English top-flight, including Man Utd’s Anthony Martial in left-midfield, Liverpool’s Sadio Mane challenging the right-wing and Manolo Gabbiadini up front.

FIFA 17 Winter Upgrades have been conspicuous by their absence this year, but a new leak suggests the release date could be revealed very soon.

Release date predictions have been based on the fact that FIFA 16 Winter Upgrades launched in four separate batches FIFA 17 Coins .However, it could be that EA Sports follows reverts back to the FIFA 15 Winter Upgrades model, which saw stats boosted in one fell swoop on February 15, 2015.

If EA Sports did switch back to this model, then that would make 6pm on Friday, February 17 a safe bet for the FIFA 17 Winter Upgrades release date.

And it appears the date is upon us, after a leaked screenshot appeared on numerous websites (via Daily Star). The screenshot reportedly shows an EA customer service rep confirming that the update would land on February 17.

It's not been confirmed by EA Sports, but it will be worth checking in at 6pm this Friday to see if the Winter Upgrades have finally been released.
